Mercurial repositories are often discovered through listing package managers or forges like Heptapod or formerly Bitbucket.
Mercurial repositories can also be loaded individually if they are not on any recognized forge, through the Save Code Now interface.
Software Heritage supporting loading Mercurial repositories, but is currently missing some advanced history manipulation features of Mercurial.
